Safety Audits

Our staff are highly experienced in auditing safety systems to ensure that that are legally compliant, in line with good practice and will keep you ahead of the competition!

Our staff have worked on the drafting committee for the LOtC Quality Badge and other safety standards. We can audit both UK-based and overseas third-party organisations including accommodation or transportation.

We have significant experience in pre-travel destination safety systems and will produce detailed reports to assist your planning.  We can also provide daily real-time security updates for any overseas country.

Ouroboros Consulting offer a three-tier approach to auditing. These are:

Bronze: Starting from just £100 per audit, the bronze audit is a GDPR secure desk based audit, where the client uploads their data via our website. This is reviewed by our staff for compliance and offers a truely cost effective option for proving compliance.

Silver: As with the bronze tier, this audit starts with a desk based review before progressing to a 'live' on-line audit via SurveyorTech software. This allows for a more comprehensive two-way audit process. Prices per audit start at £175 for this option.

Gold: This is a face-to-face audit process, where our staff will come to your global facility and conduct an in-depth one-to-one survey. Please contact us for our pricing schedule.

Previous audits include: Paragliding, Bungee Jumping, Hotel Security, White Water Rafting, Hotel Catering, Water skiing, Zip lining, Banana boats, Hot air balloons, Ferries, 4x4 safaris, Snorkelling, Show tours, Scuba Diving, Watersports centres, Jungle trekking and much much more...

Safety Management Systems

We work with our clients to plan, design and implement robust Safety Management Systems, suitable for the size of their operation. Included in our Safety Management System consultancy services is the design of an Emergency Plan, detailing how their staff should act if an incident occurs.

Risk Management and Continuity Planning

Having experienced a significant amount of localised, regional, and global incidents over the last twenty years, our consultants are well-placed to advise on risk management and business continuity planning, enabling our clients to prepare and train for unforeseen eventualities. We help our clients identify potential weaknesses that could lead to business interruption following a change in circumstances or incident.

Hotel Safety Procedures

We offer consultation services to multi-national and individually owned hotel brands to ensure they are implementing gold standard Health and Safety protocols and procedures for the benefit of their clients. We also work in conjunction with national travel associations to ensure holiday and transportation providers within their sector are addressing travel.

Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018

The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 have re-defined the scope of a holiday package, meaning many more travel companies and agencies will now become the principal provider. We help our clients understand the legal obligations which tour operators and agents need to adhere to and support them by creating an internal ‘Safety Management System’, Our approach is proactive, working with the client to plan, implement and manage their risk assessment strategy.

“…This is the group that did my hostile environment training - I thought they were brilliant and the course covered everything I'd hoped for, including tech and device safety when abroad, and taught by a really experienced team who were able to illustrate pretty much every scenario with their own personal experience. Happy to give more info if anyone is considering doing one of their courses…”
